Former Duke lacrosse player Collin Finnerty speaks after being declared innocent by NC Attorney General Roy Cooper on April 11, 2007. The press conference was held at the Sheraton in downtown Raleigh.

In comparison to the many blacks that have lost their lives over white women making the same accusations with less evidence, and the multitude that have served long prison sentences for the same falsities, who can expect black american to give a damn?…I know one thing, it couldn’t have been my sister, or they would’ve found out what real suffering is!!!…guilty or not.

Collin Finnerty has been through a lot. I think that he’s dealing with it well (at least on the outside).
Frankly the whole politically correct establishment that perpetuated this fraud should have been punished: The media, liberal student groups, teachers, the faculty of Duke University, Durham officals, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton ALL of them!
But Political Correctness is still a part of our culture, continuing to destroy the lives of those who don’t fit into the right mold of class envy, skin color, or political thinking…maybe Jerremiah Wright said it best in this case “…God **** America”

I also heard something of a class-action lawsuit against Duke U. and Durham. Some 30+ families of lacrosse players………

It sounds like Nifong is broke anyway; so they won’t get much out of him unless they can collect from his liability insurance. If nothing else, hope they at least have the satisfaction of him being exposed for the a-hole that he is.
just that the 3 of them have filed law suits against dutham, nifong and som other places. i havent heard about the outcome though

Too Bad NIFONG wasn’t in jail long enough to be ass raped. Police detectives and prosecutors that violate public trust should be aggressively prosecuted and hung in a large public ceremony. you can bet there is a nifong in every city in the U.S.
Colin and the other two men falsely accused in this matter will be wealthy men soon. Today, they filed suit against the D.A., the city of Durham, and the police detectives who investigated the case.
Hope they take ‘em to the cleaners.
