The CAL Bears lacrosse team got off to a fast start and after a shaky third quarter cruised to a solid victor over the UCSB Gauchos. After being edged out for the MCLA tournament last year, the Bears have a challenging schedule with lots of out of conference games. Sophomore attack Conner Thomas and junior middie Jared Brett both had 3 goals in the 10-6 win. CAL looks like a team on the rise.
